Loni Chowdhury serves as Producer and Vice President of US Market Development at Thoughtful Media Group (TMG). Loni leads a team and focuses on building a subscriber based social media community for national and global brands through the creation of entertaining characters on YouTube resulting in media outcomes that are far superior with a results driven approach through the creation of YouTube personalities and characters with retargeted ads on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and other online landing pages. At the core of what he does is delivering dramatic lifts on certain measures like recall and purchase intent through the relationships between brand and character. Through the creation of TMG's proprietary characters, played by human actors, whose actions embody the very essence of the brands that he services, Loni is an expert in attracting very large targeted audiences from platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. These audiences (friends, fans, followers and subscribers) make friends with the characters, engaging far more frequently and more meaningfully than your typical brand-based fans.

Digital Media Advertising (9 years), Start Ups (6 years), Software (6 years).

Mr. Chowdhury also holds double degrees in English and Business Administration & Specialization from UCLA with a constant goal to continue building successful business models for the ever evolving advertising world.

In 2002, Loni pioneered the online display advertising vertical for Realtor.com, creating opportunities for Realtors and Brokers to buy CPM and CPC advertising for the first time on the world's largest real estate database, taking them away from print and into the online world. It was here where he first formulated a start-up plan of action for the entire sales floor of 300+ advertising reps, working with the CEO and board of directors at Realtor.com, taking a $10 Million annual revenue online advertising platform into a $400 Million start-up giant in a period of 6 years.

In 2007, after the success of the Realtor.com, Loni pursued his renewed passion for digital & broadcast media into another bold start-up opportunity with Screenvision, a cinema advertising company where Loni developed new markets and US territories, building relationships with Brands and Agencies into an exciting and new digital cinema pre-show platform.

Loni also knows 5 languages which he strongly believes helps him visualize and think from different angles and cultural points of views and allows him to better connect the dots. He is a huge fan of Bollywood movies having been surrounded by the movie industry since age 5 where his father used to own two movie theaters in India. Little did he know, his passion for movies would lead him to Screenvision and now Thoughtful Media as our Producer of branded entertainment content.
